Settled in the valley of Llano de la Cruz lies this restored 200 year old cottage. It is hidden away from view but yet only just over five minutes from the town of Ronda – a perfect country idyll. It benefits from thick stone- walls and traditional beams and a warm atmosphere due to the care bestowed by its English owners. It is full of character and comfortably furnished in good taste.
The intimate sitting room has sofas and armchairs arranged around the open fireplace with soft lighting and oriental rugs. A dining room leads out to the terrace at the back and is adjacent to the kitchen, which has a ceramic hob, oven and fridge/freezer. A utility room provides space for a further freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with bath/shower, basin and lavatory.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms and two further bathrooms, one of which is ensuite with the spacious master bedroom. Here there is a double bed and plenty of cupboard space. Two of the other bedrooms have twin beds whilst the fourth has a double bed. Both bathrooms have bath/shower, basin and lavatory.
Outside, the garden is delightful, planted with rosemary, roses, lawns and a rambling vine for shade. The owners have thoughtfully provided table tennis and space to play boule. The swimming pool measuring 11x5.5 metres has a full filtration system and is enclosed for the safety of small children. Terracing runs around three sides of the house with a range of garden furniture for outside dining and sunbathing. Central heating is installed for the cooler weeks.
