La Dehesa is an excellent addition to our portfolio of houses. It has the best of both worlds as it occupies its own private valley with a large amount of land around it and yet it is only a few minutes along the track to a good restaurant on the edge of the village of Benoajan. The house has been beautifully restored by its owners, with something to appreciate throughout the house.

The sitting room is spacious and open plan incorporating the kitchen and dining areas. It has double height space with a minstrel gallery, which gives the house a tremendous atmosphere. There is a lovely open fireplace surrounded by capacious armchairs and a sofa and decorated in a eclectic style reflecting a host of traveling experiences. The kitchen is unusual with much reclaimed wood crafted into fabulous work surfaces. Whilst being aesthetically striking, it also has everything including a 5-ring hob, oven, fridge, and dishwasher. A further large fridge, large freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the utility room. The dining area seats eight on high backed rattan chairs.

In the south wing of the house there are four lovely bedrooms all with interesting fabrics. The master bedroom upstairs is well proportioned and has a large four-poster bed with en-suite facilities including a shower, lavatory and two basins. On the ground floor the second bedroom has a double bed and the third has twin beds. These bedrooms share a bathroom that has a shower, lavatory and basin. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a bath/shower, lavatory and basin. The bathrooms are all richly decorated with marble and unusual copper basins. The fourth bedroom can also accommodate and extra child in a supplementary bed. It has its own entrance from the garden as well as from the passage in the house.

Outside there is a lovely long vine-covered terrace with table and chairs for dining and a gas BBQ. Steps lead down onto an expansive lawn that takes you to a further set of steps to the pool area. This is an idyllic setting with a  round 10 meter swimming pool (1.5 meters deep throughout) with full filtration system. The pool house has dining table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ. There are plenty of sun beds provided and an out door sofa on which to relax and read.

In addition to these features there are four putting greens for the golf enthusiasts. Walking is a tremendous pleasure in this private hidden valley
