Finca Serena is a recently, beautifully renovated country house surrounded by olive and almond groves, in a perfectly secluded position, with spectacular views to the pretty white village of Gaucin and the surrounding Bermeja mountains. Retaining many original features, the property also benefits from modern facilities, making it a truely comfortable and romantic place from which to enjoy the many delights that this part of Andalucia has to offer. Guided walks and rides can be arranged locally, whilst the restaurants and bars of Gaucin are only a 20 minute walk away.

From a bamboo-covered terrace with marble-topped tables and chairs, one enters the living dining area, with cool stone floors and white washed walls.  There is a round dining table with chairs, a woodburning stove and original built-in bookshelves. The fully equipped kitchen is adjacent, with gas-hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and double sink, with a door leading through to a utility room with washing machine and a small terrace for hanging out laundry.

Leading off from the living area is a twin bedroom with one double and one single bed, with windows looking out to the countryside, and an en suite bathroom with bath and shower over, lavatory, bidet and basin.  To the right is a small dressing room with built- in wardrobes. Upstairs is a large colourfully decorated living room with a large sofa/bed, two rocking chairs, a woodburning stove, desk and a large flat-screen TV with some BBC channels, and also high-speed internet connection.  From here there is access to two spacious terraces, one of which has a table and chairs, and wonderful views of El Hacho mountain.

The large double bedroom has views out to Gaucin from all 3 windows, and an en suite bathroom with a bath with shower over, lavatory, basin and bidet.

To one side of the house is the swimming pool 10m x 3.5 m, with sun loungers and small drinks tables, surrounded by woodland and silence.

The property is accessed via a maintained 1km track, however, a four wheel drive vehicle is advisable in April, May and October.
