Situated in Grazalema Natural Park, this romantic hideaway offers spectacular views down the valley towards the Roman settlement of Acinipo near to Ronda, whilst being just ten minutes by car from the beautiful white village of Grazalema with its variety of tapas bars and restaurants and picturesque plaza. The property is set in 10 acres of olive and almond grove, with just the sound of grazing goats as a tranquil backdrop to a truly peaceful ambiance. The cottage has been carefully renovated using local natural materials and is simply furnished in a rustic but artistic style. It is accessed by a well kept but steep track 1.2 kilometres from the road. One enters into the sitting room, which has a comfortable sofa and armchairs around a wood-burning stove. It is equipped with CD/tape, radio, television and video player. Steps lead into the open-plan kitchen and dining area with old-fashioned tiled sink, washing machine, gas cooker, fridge/freezer and cupboards and a round dining table and chairs. A door opens on to a pretty tiled patio, ideal for dining in the heat of the day. Two twin bedrooms each having a shower room with basin and lavatory and a further bathroom fitted with bath/shower, basin and lavatory and a dressing area complete the downstairs accommodation. A partly railed staircase leads up to the mezzanine master bedroom situated in the tower, which has a double bed and fantastic views of the valley below. A quiet terrace at the front of the house looks out over the amazing panorama and has table and chairs for alfresco dining at sunset, with a built-in barbecue and pool to the side. The pool measures 6.5 x 3.5 metres and a depth of 1.3 metres with natural steps leading down and is fitted with a fully automatic filtration system. It is surrounded by a post and rail fence, but due to the steep drops on two sides, is not suitable for small children.
