Andalucia is one of
the most exiting and diverse regions of Europe in which to take
a holiday. Whilst relaxing and unwinding is always at the top of
the list, seeing, experiencing, and tasting the cultural
treasures and cuisine on offer enriches the holiday greatly. To
that end, at Real Ronda we wish to give you as much information
as we can so that you can see for yourselves the possibilities
in the area and plan your time accordingly.
Some of the well known places to visit, such as the Alhambra
Palace in Granada have been documented in programmes and guides
endlessly, but if you haven’t paid a visit, then book ahead this
time and see one of the truly amazing architectural treasures of
the world. It really does live up to all of the superlatives
that have been attributed to it. Likewise, the Alcazar in
Seville or the Mesquita in Cordoba are all worthwhile trips that
will ensure you have a memorable holiday.
There are also events taking place throughout the year, which
are frustratingly difficult to find out about. For example, we
are frequently asked about flamenco concerts and festivals, so
this year we have endeavoured to collate as much information as
possible on the subject. Fiestas abound throughout spring,
summer and early autumn in this vibrant part of Spain. Whilst
being of course thoroughly enjoyable, fiestas also give an
insight into the soul of Spain and its rich heritage.
So whether you are looking for; horse riding, bullfighting,
painting, a walk in one of the splendid National Parks,
somewhere to entertain the children, a cultural fix or somewhere
to enjoy the local gourmet delights and imbibe some of the best
wines and sherries- then read on!
