These four cottages on the large country estate of Los Agarrobales are very special and were assigned as one of the top rural tourism destinations in Europe by Traveller Magazine. They are worthy of the superlatives extraordinary and fantastic. The view is to die for and the swimming pool is enormous (20x10 metres) in a figure of eight, with fully automatic filtration system.

For two people wanting to get away from it all in a beautiful landscape, this has to be amongst one of your first choices. Whilst there are other properties at Los Algarrobales, much care has been taken to keep this location apart from the others. Each cottage, painted a dusky pink, is completely surrounded by trees and each one has a lovely terrace with wooden furniture that overlooks the pool area.

The interiors are a hexagonal open-plan design that includes the sitting room, kitchen and bedroom. A four-poster bed provides an imposing feature of the property beneath the beamed ceiling. The kitchen is quite small but effective, a cooker with oven and refrigerator, are provided. Dining table and chairs and sofa complete the setting. Central heating and air conditioning (between 11.00am and midnight) are also provided, with satellite television, CD player and DVD fitted as standard throughout. The laundry facilities are centralised and there is also the benefit of a good tennis court, which can be booked.

Whether its walking or bird watching, or simply lazing by the pool, these cottages provide a memorable holiday in superb surroundings. Ronda is about twenty minutes by car, with the village of Zahara, with its spectacular lake and the National park of Grazelema just a few minutes away and the pretty village of El Gastor close by. 

The property lies down a three kilometre track in good condition.
