All prices are in pounds sterling and  are for bookings of one week (7 nights).   A breakage deposit of £250 is payable on booking, returnable after your stay. There is a heating supplement if required in the cooler weeks of £200 per week.

This is a fabulous house, furnished to an excellent standard in one of the most privileged locations in Andalucia, outside the village of Gaucin.

It is part of the extensive Almunia estate that occupies several hundred acres looking towards the Bay of Gibraltar and Africa. At Almunia there are about a dozen houses discreetly built with total privacy uppermost. El Polo has been well designed around a courtyard, full of fruit trees and flowers that provides a haven of birdsong and scented air.

On the opposite, south facing, side of the house there is a large swimming pool surrounded by lawn and a magnificent oak tree. The outside covered terrace that overlooks the pool is effectively an open air sitting room with sofa and chairs in which to laze away the day.

The bedrooms occupy one side of the courtyard. One has twin beds placed together whilst the other has a king size double bed. Both have lovely bathrooms with walk-in showers basin and lavatory and one has a bath also.

The rooms have high ceilings and are generally light and airy with plenty of wardrobe space. Adjacent to the bedrooms there is a comfortable sitting room with a sofa and armchairs around a wood burning fire and a small galley kitchen. The main kitchen/ dining room lies on the other side of the courtyard, which leads out to the extensive covered terrace. It has excellent cooking facilities and a large dining table seating eight. There are several dining areas outside and a barbeque.

Maid service is provided three times a week. One bedroom and sitting room is closed, being reserved for the owners, which at no time is occupied by the owners when clients are staying.
