Creatively designed, this is a lovely house full of character with fantastic views down a verdant valley towards the Mediterranean and the coastline of North Africa. The property lies within its own 25 acres amidst an ancient forest where birds and wildlife flourish. 

The ground floor is open plan with outdoor and indoor living spaces merging to provide one with a sense of being entirely enveloped by nature. The dining area spills out on to the covered terrace that is filled with climbing plants and flowers. The fragrance of Jasmine pervades the atmosphere and Geraniums and Bougainvillea give vivid colour to the garden. The swimming pool is surrounded by comfortable furniture and parasols for shade. 

The kitchen is bright and well organised by someone who understands cooking. There is a Smeg five ring gas hob, Smeg electric oven and good quality fridge/freezer and various appliances. Through to the main dining room, the Oak table seats eight people in a rustic but elegant setting. The sitting room is spacious with an open fireplace and comfortable sofas and chairs. Throughout there are interesting antiques that the owner has collected during the course of her career as an interior designer. Also on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with twin beds and en suite bathroom. 

Upstairs there are three further bedrooms and bathrooms. The Master bedroom is large, decorated in pink lime wash with its own attractively tiled bathroom. The single bedroom has its own individual four poster bed. From this room there is access to the upstairs terrace which forms a Mirador over the stunning landscape. The third bedroom has a double bed and is across the hallway which has light streaming down upon the glowing aquamarine walls. 

Outside there is a separate Casita with a bed sitting room and en suite bathroom with bath and shower. A small fridge and tea making equipment is provided. There is a wood burning stove for the cooler months. A laundry room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and additional fridge/freezer. 

This is a truly delightful house that aims to please and succeeds. The owner has taken full advantage of the sheltered spot where she originally found an abandoned farmhouse and has transformed it into a stylish and comfortable haven from which to enjoy the beauty of the stunning surroundings.
