Cortijo de La Cruz is situated in a prime location south of the White Village of Gaucin but within easy reach of the coast. It has tremendous views towards North Africa whilst maintaining a high degree of privacy within its own substantial grounds. This spacious and comfortable house is a well - built property that has been decorated in an appealing Moorish style.

The entrance has imposing Spanish oak doors that open into a large hallway with a guest cloakroom. Steps lead down to the family sitting room, which has sofas, armchairs and an open fireplace. All facilities have been provided including Satellite television and a DVD player. The French windows open onto a very pretty covered terrace with a small fountain, wicker furniture and pots of flowers.

From here the garden can be fully appreciated. The dining room is particularly spacious, the oak table easily seats  8 people and has a music system for guests to enjoy. Adjoining the dining room is a well - equipped open plan kitchen, which has a hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, pantry and marble work surfaces throughout. Outside there is another covered terrace with table and chairs, BBQ and access to the utility room where the washing machine and drying rack is located.

From the patio the west wing of the house is reached where there are two twin bedded rooms with their own very pleasant views. They both have built in wardrobes and en suite bathrooms with shower, lavatory and basin decorated in blue and white. The west wing also has a small kitchen area with a fridge, hob and sink. The third bedroom, known as the Lemon Bedroom, is in the heart of the house also with its own en suite bathroom with bath/shower, lavatory, bidet and double basin. Its own French windows lead out into the garden.

The master bedroom has the privileged position on the first floor complete with a four- poster bed, its own dressing room and a splendid white marble bathroom, which has a large raised bath, walk in shower, lavatory and two basins. The balcony from the bedroom looks over the acres of grounds, across the rolling Guadiaro valley and down towards the coast.

The pool area is delightful, in a secluded spot below the house. Here you can while away the afternoon and have lunch at the table beneath a large spreading oak tree. There is also a shower provided by the pool.

Cortijo de la Cruz is a memorable house in which to stay with lots of opportunities either for a relaxing holiday around the pool or for exploring Andalucia. It is an excellent choice for families or for couples sharing, who would like to have their own independence.
