Overlooking the Mediterranean coast, Casa Altavista offers a rural setting whilst being just 15 minutes drive from Andalucia’s  Costa del Sol and the cosmopolitan world of restaurants, golf courses and marinas. The white village of Casares is 10 minutes away with its typical Spanish ambiance, tapas bars and restaurants.  Situated in the Crestillina mountains, part of a natural park, it is ideally situated for walkers and lovers of wildlife; with peregrine falcons, kestrels, vultures, eagles and lynx. The attractive mountain village of Gaucin is just twenty minutes inland by car.  

The house is accessed via a concrete lane which turns into a steep track at the end, the rewards being a panoramic view of the coast and an ambient setting in which to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

One enters into the property through a courtyard, a covered seating area to the right gives a spectacular view to the coast below. French windows lead into the sitting room with sofas around a wood-burning stove, satellite television, with English channels and a dining area to the side. Through a hallway leads to the front door and on to the kitchen, equipped with fridge/freezer, gas hob, oven and microwave. There is a separate wc. on this level. The master bedroom is on this floor with sea views, double bed, fitted cupboards and en suite bathroom with shower, double sinks and lavatory.  

Stairs from the sitting room go down to two further bedrooms; a second double bedroom with en suite of shower, basin and lavatory and French windows which lead out onto a terrace and the swimming pool. A further twin bedroom with views to the sea and the main bathroom with bathtub, basin and lavatory complete the inside accommodation.

The swimming pool, measuring 8x4 metres has terracing and sun beds with views to the Mediterranean can be accessed by a long ramp from the courtyard or from the second bedroom.
