 Casa Azul is a prettily restored village house with beautiful views of the wooded valley below Gaucin. Full of charm and character, it also benefits from having all modern conveniences. Tastefully decorated with a flower filled garden and several terraces, this property provides the ideal setting for an enjoyable village holiday.

The ground floor has a large entrance hall which leads to three bedrooms, two with double beds and the third with twin beds. There is a bathroom with shower, basin and lavatory. Several uneven steps lead down to the well-fitted kitchen which has a breakfast area, oven, 5 ring gas hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Adjacent is the dining room with table and chairs for six people. French windows open out from the kitchen and dining room on to one of the terraces. There is a covered area with a Moroccan tiled table and chairs for six. A gas barbecue is also provided. More steps lead down to the pathway to the delightful heated plunge pool which is 1.5 metres deep and has a built-in seat. At the end of the pool is another seat with fitted cushion – just the spot for a quiet read.

 From the hallway, stairs lead up to a large sitting room which is comfortably furnished with sofas and cane chairs. There is an open fireplace and television with BBC and ITV UK channels. A small fridge is provided also. French windows open onto a further terrace with sun-beds and parasol to appreciate the view. Steps lead to a third terrace above. (This floor, apart from the terrace remains closed to guests). The second bathroom with walk-in shower, basin and lavatory as well as the washing machine is located on the first floor.

 Air conditioning and electric panel heating are provided throughout the house. From this property one can walk to the many bars, restaurants and shops. It is the perfect getaway for those who want to relax in comfort and stroll around the pleasant picturesque village of Gaucin.
