Casa Delfinio is a delightfully restored cortijo set around a courtyard with the traditional palm tree gracing the centre of the cobbled yard. It combines the simplicity of Spanish rural architecture with good quality furniture and ergonomic living. The view unrivalled with the landscape spreading out towards the Moroccan coast.

The house is spacious with a good sized sitting-room. The furniture is of a good standard and tasteful design. It has a high ceiling giving the room a spacious and airy feel as well as staying cool in the hot months. French windows lead out onto the covered terrace which runs the length of the house. This is outdoor living at its best with dining table, chair, built-in bench seat and good quality cane furniture for relaxing. The terrace is filled with flowers adding to the alfresco experience.

Through an archway from the sitting-room there is the dining room which comfortably accommodates 6 people around a large wooden table. A window recess provides space for a writing desk with a view to the garden.

The kitchen is well equipped with a three ring cooker and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A separate laundry room houses the washing machine.

To the right of the main front door, the master bedroom has French windows leading out to the main terrace. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, separate shower, basin, bidet and lavatory. The two remaining bathrooms lie on the adjascent side of the courtyard. One has a double bed and en-suite shower room, basin and wc. The third bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite shower room, basin and wc.

The swimming pool measures 8x4 metres with full filtration system and is 1.2 metres to 1.8 metres in depth with steps out of the shallow end and stepladder from the deep end.. Pool towels are provided and there is plenty of outdoor furniture including sun-beds.

Casa Delfinio is a five minute drive from Gaucin and a forty minute drive from both the Costa del Sol and the historic town of Ronda. Ther are public tennis courts in Gaucin and the golf course at La Ducquesa is 30 kilometres away. Horse-riding can be organised if requested in advance. Close-by are two other houses Casa Jacinto which also sleeps 6 and Casa Calendula which sleeps 2, enabling large parties to be accommodated. Each have there own private swimming pool and garden and are approximately 200 metres from Delfinio.
