Surrounded by rolling hills and fantastic views, Casa El Torcal is within El Torcal National Park, and only 40 minutes from Malaga. Villanueva de la Conception is the nearest village, 10 minutes drive away, and also within easy reach are Antequerra, Granada and Cordoba, plus the lovely lake area, El Chorro. Locally, one can enjoy horse riding, birdwatching and walking.

The house is set back slightly from a country road, and is fully enclosed with secure gates.  The property is a restored farmhouse, which has retained all of its original charm, including handmade terracotta floor tiles and low beamed ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms.

From a shady terrace area you enter to the cool living/dining room which has a large wood table and chairs, a comfortable sofa with two armchairs and coffee table.  There is a TV, video and a large woodburning stove for use in the cooler months.  The kitchen is off to the left, and has an electric hob and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and double sink. A door opens out to a quiet walled courtyard with pots of flowers and a large bbq.  Adjacent to the living room is a family size bathroom with bath and shower over, wc, basin and bidet. Opposite there is a double bedroom with pine wardrobes. A curved wooden stairway leads up to a small living room with two armchairs and a small table. There are a further two twin-bedrooms and one double bedroom.  (All have low beamed sloping ceilings, with windows in the roof).

To the front of the house is a small lawned area surrounded by roses and flowering shrubs, and the swimming pool, 7x4m with a ladder down.
