Situated in the quiet hamlet of La Higuera and surrounded by the Torcal National Park, Casa Los Lirios is a lovely traditional Andalucian house with a large mature garden.  The owners will happily organize mountain-climbing, horse-riding and bird-watching trips, for which the area is well known, and the fascinating cities of Granada and Cordoba are within easy reach for day trips.

From a shady covered terrace at the front of the house, you enter the living area which has an open fireplace, with a sofa, comfortable chairs and a coffee table, sat TV, video and a music system.  From here through to the well-equipped kitchen with a dining table and chairs, microwave oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, sink and washing machine.  A pretty archway leads through to a large light double bedroom with pine furniture and a large window and on to the twin bedroom with wardrobe and dressing table.  The bathroom has a shower, WC and basin.

The large terrace area to one side of the house is partly covered by a trailing vine, ensuring shade in the hotter months, with a table and chairs, and a built in BBQ.  The pool (4x8m) is surrounded by terracotta tiles, and looks on to the beautiful lawned garden, with flowering shrubs, palm and pine trees. A lovely, private and quiet place.
