Surrounded by the stunning Torcal National Park, Finca Lomas de Tienda sits on a hill overlooking beautiful countryside.  Villanueva de la Conception is the nearest village, just 7 minutes drive away, while Malaga airport is 40 minutes drive.  This is a good place from which to explore Antequerra, Cordoba and Granada, and also El Chorro, renown for its lakes and rock climbing.  The helpful owners are happy to organize horse-riding, walking and bird-watching trips.

The pretty guest cottage adjoins the owner’s house and has its own entrance.  From the vine covered terrace you enter the living area with a sofa and chairs arranged around the fireplace; there is a dining table with chairs, sat TV and terracotta floors and high wood-beamed ceilings throughout. The kitchen has an electric hob, double sink and fridge.  There are two pretty bedrooms; one with two twin beds and a smaller child’s bed, and the second bedroom has a double bed, both have fantastic views over the surrounding countryside.  The white-tiled shower room has a large shower, wc, bidet and basin, and also a washing machine. The house is centrally heated in winter.  There are two lovely terraces, ideal for alfresco dining. The swimming pool is surrounded by a wall on two sides, giving complete privacy (10mx4.5), and is occasionally used by the owners.

This is a lovely quiet place to relax, surrounded by olive and almond groves. (The owners have a friendly dog, a horse and a donkey).
