This is a delightful old house set in mature Andalusian gardens at the site of a natural spring giving the house its name, Aguadentero. There are lovely terraces and shaded areas amongst the various types of fruit trees. Oranges, Medlars and Figs can be picked when in season and an avenue of large palm trees leads from the house up to the swimming pool, which measures 9x 4.5 meters and has a full filtration system. Broad steps that span the width of the pool lead down into the water. The garden is a children’s paradise with lots of space to play.

 Casa Aguadentero is a well - proportioned house with high ceilings and a quiet atmosphere hinting at an era gone by. The sitting room is comfortable with two sofas and and chairs by the original marble fireplace. Additional rattan  furniture can be used either inside or out on the terrace. Nineteenth Century Andalusian tiles still decorate the walls. Through double doors, there is a dining room with ten chairs, table and antique sideboard. The kitchen is across the hallway. Whilst traditional in style it has everything one needs, including: cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The washing machine is in the utility room behind the kitchen. The ground floor also has a cloakroom with shower, basin and lavatory.

Upstairs the bedrooms are of a good size and laid out in a convenient manner with the two master bedrooms at the opposite ends of the house.  There are five bedrooms in total, two with double beds and three with twin beds. All have their own bathrooms, which are fitted with shower, basin and lavatory except for one twin bedded room, which has a bath as well.

The house makes a wonderful holiday base for a large group or two families who want  to share together. Local bar/restaurants are close by, one of which offers barbequed grills on a large open terrace with views of the valley. Ronda is just a ten minute drive and walking and riding are all options available.
