VILLA CASA EL FARALLON

Casa El Farallon is a holiday dream. Beautifully appointed and ideally located within walking distance to all amenities, it has everything most of our guests are searching for. The property has been well thought out - taking advantage of the superb location on the edge of the desirable village of Gaucín with the best views you will find in Andalucia. It is very private and the house does not have close neighbours, making it very appealing.

This lovely house in Gaucín is in one of the most prized locations in Andalucia. It´s only a short walk uphill into the village, several bars and restaurants are located at only 5 or 10 minutes by foot. The coast is a forty five minute drive and Ronda is forty minutes away. Gibraltar Airport is fifty minutes and Malaga one hour and a half.

The price for 2 persons is for 1 bedroom, 6 persons the 3 bedrooms in the main house. For 8 persons the casita is included. The casita can take one additional small child.

Villa Details

HOUSE LAYOUT

The first floor of the house features the main living area with a kitchen/diner that has an American double fridge/freezer, a large range cooker with five rings with a good sized oven and a dishwasher. A microwave is also provided and there are plenty of appliances and kitchen utensils. The sitting room is directly adjacent and contains plenty of comfortable solid furniture, a library of books, a flat screen television and DVD player. The heating is underfloor throughout the property and the tiling is especially attractive.

The master bedroom is also on the top floor with a king-size double bed and a delightful bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower. Downstairs there are two further double bedrooms each with their own bathroom; one has a bath and the other a shower. All beds in three bedrooms can be made up as doubles or singles. All bedrooms also have their own terraces and ceiling fans. There is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer on the lower floor and there is access to the garden from both floors.

There is an annex building set down from the house, known as the “Casita”, where the fourth bedroom is located. One has to go down the stairs through the garden to reach the Casita.

Please note: if the central heating is required there is an additional cost of 100.00 pounds per week.


OUTSIDE SPACE

There are several levels to the very pretty garden with lots of terraces, shrubs and shady spots and even a small pond with fish and beautiful lilypads. The terrace at the back of the house takes in the wonderful vista of the Campo de Gibraltar stretching down towards the Mediterranean. On a clear day the Rif mountains in Morocco can be seen. There is a built-in barbecue and a Moroccan tiled table for dining outside. The swimming pool is next to the house and measures 10 metres by 4 metres which is a rare luxury in a village property.
