Tucked away in the countryside just five minutes from the village of Gaucín, Casa Las Barracas has a nice garden and private swimming pool - just for two people. Surrounded by trees with a lawned garden, it is a perfect retreat for a couple wanting to get away from it all and enjoy this part of Andalucia.

Casa Las Barracas is a five minute drive from Gaucín and a forty minute drive from both the Costa del Sol and the historic town of Ronda. There are public tennis courts in Gaucín and the golf course at La Ducquesa is 30 kilometres away. Horse-riding can be organised if requested in advance.

HOUSE LAYOUT

Two stone buildings have been joined together by a covered terrace. To the left is the larger of the dwelling with a cosy sitting-room, Satellite TV, Radio and I Pod docking station. This leads through to the bright and pleasant bedroom with Indonesian furniture including a large double bed. At the end of the house is the shower room. There is plenty of cupboard space and although small, has everything one needs. Fans and hairdryer are provided. To the right of the terrace is the modern kitchen equipped with hob, oven and fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. There is also a dining table.


OUTSIDE SPACE

The garden is not overlooked and has a swimming pool measuring 7x3 metres and a depth of 1.2-1.8 metres and is surrounded by lawns with sun-beds. It gets plenty of sun and there is a large tree which provides shade for hotter times of the day. There is a table for dining on the attractive terrace.
