VILLA CASA DE LOS AVES

Casa De Los Aves sits in a sunny south facing position with a lovely garden. Aptly named, there are plenty of birds to listen to whilst you gaze at a sublime view with a glass in hand prior to dipping in a large private swimming pool. An excellent opportunity for those wishing to enjoy a comfortable holiday near the pretty village of Gaucín in Andalucia.

The house is a short drive of 10 minutes from the village of Gaucín and approximately forty five minutes from the coast. Ronda is also a forty five minute drive and Cadiz an hour and a half. The house is accessed by quite a steep track so when hiring a car ensure the engine size is at least 1.4L.

HOUSE LAYOUT

The house is newly built with up to date facilities and thoughtfully planned. The sitting room is large with huge sofas and an open fireplace if needed. The kitchen/ dining area is spacious with a solid wooden table for eight diners and the kitchen well equipped with four ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and relevant appliances.

The house has four bedrooms en suite. Two have double beds and two twin beds and three of which have walk in showers and one with a shower over the bath. Plenty of cupboard space is provided and three bedrooms have an air conditioning unit , whilst one has an overhead ceiling fan. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and two on the first floor.


OUTSIDE SPACE

The house is located in a quiet spot with no close neighbours. The property is not overlooked and has an enviable view towards the Mediterranean and the Riff mountains beyond in Morocco. The design and layout are from traditional inspiration with a delightful courtyard filled with orange trees and their blossom and approached through antique wooden doors that set off the patio to its best advantage.

On the opposite side of the house a long terrace runs the length of the property. This is well furnished with a dining table for eight people and sofas and chairs for that afternoon nap or time in the shade with a good book. The garden overlooks the pool area where there are plenty of wooden sunbeds and a pool that measure 10 x 5 metres with a shallow end of 1 metre and deep end of 2 metres. The owner is a keen gardener so there is a wide variety of shrubs and plants.
