HOUSE LAYOUT

The ground floor is open plan, with high beamed ceilings with fans, colourful woven rugs on terracotta floor tiles, giving a feeling of cool spaciousness. To one end is a living area with cream coloured sofas, bright cushions, a coffee table, armchairs and bookcases full of books on Andalucia. Elegant table lamps, antiques and an extensive collection of paintings from around the world add character to this lovely property. 

The dining area has a large mahogany table with chairs, and open fireplace, sofa and armchairs, and satellite TV and an i-pod docking station.  The pretty, well equipped blue and white painted kitchen has granite work-surfaces, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and an electric oven with gas hob.  There is a utility room with washing machine and a tumble dryer, and also a larder.  There is a downstairs cloakroom. 

A polished wooden staircase leads up to a spacious, well decorated double bedroom, with a chaise longue, antique dressing table, built in wardrobes and pretty floor kilns. French doors with balconies open out on two sides, and there is an en suite, wood-panelled bathroom, with free standing bath, loo, bidet and a large walk-in shower. 

There are two more pretty bedrooms, each with twin beds, that can be made up as doubles or singles, ceiling fans, built in wardrobes, and large windows opening out to the countryside beyond, and each with en suite bathroom with bath, loo and basin. The fourth bedroom is located off the courtyard. It has a double bed, a fine antique wardrobe and an en suite shower room.


OUTDOOR SPACE

In true Andalucian style, tall, antique wooden double doors, surrounded by blue flowering climbing plumbago welcome you into a pretty, sheltered, cobbled courtyard with a fountain. At the back of the house there is a large wisteria and jasmine covered terrace, which enjoys breath-taking views, and has a dining table with chairs, and also comfortable wicker sofas and a table.

From the terrace, steps lead to the gated swimming pool, measuring 12 x 6 metres, which has a full filtration system,  sunbeds, and a table tennis table.  From here, views to the Crestillina mountain and further on down to the coastline are quite amazing. The gardener comes each morning from Monday to Friday and there is a mid week clean on a Wednesday to clean the bathrooms and the kitchen. 'Noche' the cat, lives in the garden to see off any unwelcome visitors.
