FINCA EL CAPELLAN

This is a comfortable modern house with lots of indoor and outside space to be enjoyed by one big family or two smaller families to share. The property is situated between the white villages of Casares and Gaucín, whilst Jimena de la Frontera can also be seen from the grounds. There is an excellent view towards the "Eagles Castle" perched on top of the rock of Gaucín. The garden is laid out beautifully on different levels with decorative stone paths curling along trees and aromatic - plants.

HOUSE LAYOUT

On the first floor there are four bedrooms, all of them with views over the surrounding mountains. The master bedroom, ensuite, has a kingsize bed 180 x 200cms and a dressing room. It has its own private balcony with a fabulous vista of the countryside. There are three guest bedrooms upstairs -  one ensuite and the other two, share a bathroom. The bed sizes are as follows: 180 x 200cm and 160 x 200cms and the third one has two twin beds.

The living area on the ground floor is a large open space with a high ceiling, featuring wrought iron chandeliers. Full length windows open out to the terrace and provide views towards the garden. The sitting room has two expansive modern sofas and two arm chairs around a coffee table. There is  a large wooden dining table, seating twelve people. Next to the dining area a counter looks over the open plan kitchen on the other side.

The other two bedrooms are also on the ground floor with en suite shower rooms, double beds 180 x 200 cms and the other 160 x 200cms and plenty of cupboard space. They are both light, pretty rooms, one with french windows into the garden and the other with access to the main courtyard. There is a seventh bedroom with a queen sized bed to the rear of the kitchen suitable for a nanny.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a 5 hob gas stove, large gas oven, double sink with food waste disposer, large fridge, separate freezer, drinks/wine chiller, SodaStream (water provided), kettle, coffee machine, luxury toaster and plenty of crockery. There is an adjacent utility room with a further 4 ring hob, sink, extra freezer, drinks/wine chiller, the washing machine and dryer.

On this floor there is also a smaller TV/sitting room with a fireplace, two sofas, a leather pouffe and a coffee table. A large flat screen TV and a collection of DVD's, books and board games complete the space. Downstairs there is a games room with sofa and coffee table. Last but not least the basement also has a gym with -amongst others- a treadmill, punchbag and weights. The whole house benefits from an intergrated heating / cooling system.

 

OUTSIDE SPACE

Next to the kitchen there is a terrace with space for 12 to dine al fresco as well as an outdoor seating area with a corner sofa. Walking down through the green garden you will reach the large swimming pool, measuring 7,5 by 15 metres. The pool has a safety cover so it can be left unexposed when not in use. There are regular sunbeds, a couple of luxury round sunbeds and umbrellas to provide shade.

The pool area also has a large wooden gazebo with a table that seats 8 and an outdoor corner sofa. There is an exterior sink and fridge and a large gas barbecue. Set down from the swimming pool there is a small football field. There is also a basketball hoop and a kids play area with swings, a trampoline, slide and hut. This is an excellent house for families with plenty to keep the children occupied and you are still only twenty minutes from the beach. The nearest village of Casares is one the most picturesque, with plenty of opportunites to eat out in exceptional countryside.
