VILLA CASA EL PARAISO

El Paraiso lives up to its name - a paradise in the valley with easy access to the enchanting city of Ronda. The property was renovated by a couple who decided they loved the area so much that they bought this endearing house. They have improved it beyond measure and are hoping that plenty of families will come to enjoy their second home. The house is situated in the valley known as “Llano de La Cruz” and has no close neighbours.

The property is approached along a lane and a short track and surrounded by olive groves with the odd tinkle of sheep and goats bells and plenty of buzzards, kestrals, bee-eaters and on occasion eagles. One can walk straight out of the gate and go for either a gentle stroll or for more energetic walks in the hills above. There are two rural hotels that both have restaurants at walking distance.

Bikes are available for hire in Ronda and there is a horse-riding stable close by with several hacks. At the village of Algodonales there is hang gliding for the brave and at the lake near Zahara one can hire kayaks. A welcome hamper is included. All of that plus the remarkable cultural treasures of Andalucia - what more could one want.

HOUSE LAYOUT

The house has been opened out to have a large living space with French windows on all sides to give access to the covered terrace. The sitting room has modern seating upholstered in restrained grey linen with a 42 inch smart TV with a variety of UK channels, Netflix and a selection of DVDs. The Naim audio system allows Bluetooth connection to your iPhone /Pod, Airplay and Spotify.

The kitchen has all brand new appliance including a Neff Oven and Hob and the all important temperature controlled wine chiller. The utility room has a washer dryer, double door fridge and storage for the basics that are supplied ( oil, condiments suger etc.) The dining table seats eight comfortably in the kitchen area. Children have been catered for with plenty of toys and books at the house (cot and high chair available) and plastic cutlery and plates. The hall has a visitors' washroom.

Upstairs there are four double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size four poster bed and an en suite bathroom with a bath. The second bedroom has a zip and link bed that can be either two singles or one king-size double. The third and fourth bedrooms have queen size double beds. the second bathroom has a large walk in shower and double basins. All of the linen is Egyptian cotton with bath and pool towels provided. There is plenty of cupboard space.


OUTSIDE SPACE

Outside one is spoilt for choice with three terraces furnished with sofas and a chunky wooden outdoor dining table that seats eight, a shaded area next to the pool and six good quality wooden sunbeds. The swimming pool is surrounded by lawn in a hedged garden with views down the rest of the valley towards the National Park of Grazalema on one side and the Sierra de Las Nieves on the other. If you get bored of sunbathing and swimming then table tennis and boules are provided for some gentle exercise along with yoga mats.
