VILLA CASA IBEX

This charming property enjoys a unique setting within the Grazalema Natural Park, set up high on a mountainside, with sweeping views of the unspoilt countryside to the Sierra de las Nieves. Ibex can be seen leaping across the limestone crags, deer graze beneath ancient oak trees, and in the spring many different types of orchids and wild flowers surround the house. 

A unique, peaceful, secluded hide-away, offering both comfortable living space, and a chance to enjoy and experience the stunning Andalucian country side. There are some wonderful walks out from the house, making this an ideal place to stay for both adults and children.

The beautiful white village of Grazalema is just 10 minutes by car, with plentiful good restaurants and shops selling local produce. The property is also within easy reach of the historic town of Ronda, whose medieval quarter and old city walls contain interesting sightseeing.

Villa Details

HOUSE LAYOUT

There is a spacious, high-ceilinged living room, with a large picture window looking out to the countryside. There are comfortable rattan sofas and armchairs, a hand-carved wood dining table with chairs, woodburning stove and satellite television with some English channels. There is a small library with books and guides on the area and all of the windows have been fitted with fly screens. 

Adjacent to the living room there are two bedrooms; one with a double bed, the other with one single bed, which share a large, modern shower room, with a glass fronted walk in shower, wc and hand basin. Upstairs is the spacious master bedroom, with double bed, and views to the swimming pool.  Next door is a spacious shower room, with walk in shower, wc, hand basin and a washing machine. The fourth bedroom on the first floor has two twin beds. 

The modern, well equipped kitchen has polished wood worksurfaces and a dining table with chairs. There is an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and sink.


OUTSIDE SPACE

The house is reached by a winding track, which though steep, is in reasonable condition.  To the front of the house is a flagstone patio, with a dining table, chairs and a sunshade, enjoying amazing views to the mountains beyond, and surrounded by ancient olive and oak trees. 

The pool area is at the rear of the property. The swimming pool has a full filtration system, and measures 6 x 4 metres, with lighting for night swimming, and has a lawned area to one side, and a huge oak tree with a wooden bench table beneath. As barbeques are not permitted within the Natural Park, an electric grill is provided for al fresco cooking.
