VILLA CORTIJO LAS WISTERIAS

This rather fabulous house is perfect for a family holiday or a large group. Spacious with enviable places to sit and relax, read a book or contemplate the view - which is outstanding. There is little one could suggest to improve this delightful property set in large grounds. It is a well thought out home with an emphasis on private space for everyone.

The house has seven bedrooms in all - although the maximum guests are twelve. Cleaning three times a week (Monday, Wednesdy and Friday is included.) Please note that the property is not suitable for anyone with an allergy to cats.

HOUSE LAYOUT

The house is set around the courtyard all on the ground floor except the master bedroom which is upstairs on the first floor. All the bedrooms are en suite with walk in showers except the master bedroom which has a bath as well. Five of the bedrooms have double beds and two have twin beds. The master bedroom has a fourposter bed and air conditioning and is large enough to contain a sofa as well. Beyond the bathroom there is a private terrace with sunbeds. Three bedrooms are on the south side of the courtyard, each with their own seating area outside, one double bedded room also has air conditioning and three are off the courtyard in the north wing of the property.

The sitting room is comfortable furnished and has two sets of French windows, interesting paintings and etchings and a large selection of books. Beyond the sitting room is the interior dining room with a table to seat eight persons. A swing door, featuring beautiful marquetry, allows easy access in and out of the kitchen, which has much as anyone could need. A six ring stove with a double oven, double door fridge/ freezer and additional walk in fridge (yes, one could be there for a month without going out!) There are two sinks and a dishwasher. The utility room is across the courtyard which houses the central heating boiler and washing machines.

OUTSIDE SPACE

The garden is immaculately maintained with a variety of plants and shrubs. There is a meditation garden planted around a fountain and an inner courtyard with sofas to rest in the heat of the day.

On the other side of the house is a terrace with more cane furniture and the lovely twelve seater dining table, well set up for entertaining. Steps lead you down from the terrace to the pool area. The swimming pool is heated and has a cover for night time, which extends the use of the swimming pool into the milder months.
